
Harris County Precinct 4 Annouces Spring area Openings & Closures
September 18, 2008Due to Hurricane Ike, several Harris County Precinct 4 facilities are closed and some of the September programming has been cancelled. The community centers and parks will re-open as electricity is restored and damages are repaired. Precinct 4 staff is working to open facilities as quickly as possible and updates will be posted online at www.hcp4.net. Please refer to the list below for Spring area openings and closures:

Bayer Park (24811 W. Hardy Road, 77373) will be open within two weeks

Collins Park Picnic and Playground Area (6727 Cypresswood Drive, 77379) will be open within two weeks

Collins Skate Park (6727 Cypresswood Drive, 77379) CLOSED pending long-term damage assessment and repair

Klein Park (4531 Spring Cypress Road, 77379) CLOSED pending long-term damage assessment and repair

Meyer Park, Playground Area and Walking Trails (7700 Cypresswood Drive, 77379) open now or by the end of this week

Meyer Park, North Side (7700 Cypresswood Drive, 77379) Meyer Park, South Side Picnic will be open within two weeks

Southwell Park (27419 Nelson Street, 77373) open by Saturday, September 20
