August 2, 2011

Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens is hosting the 5th Annual Garden Faire & Fall Festival Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the natural picnic area on the west side of Aldine Westfield Road. This free two-day event features regional plant societies, local artists specializing in garden art, a variety of entertainment, and more!

Community members are invited to visit the many vendor booths for garden presentations, activities for children including train rides around the picnic loop from “Stan the Train Man” and nature-related crafts, as well as gift items offered by The Mercer Society (TMS). Other vendor booths include craft groups, pet rescue organizations, and plant societies selling plants. Festival-goers can bring a picnic or purchase food at the concessions.
