Mangum-Howell Center Offers AARP Safe Driving Course

Mangum-Howell Center offers an AARP Safe Driving Course Thursday, September 15 from noon to 4:30 p.m. This course helps drivers 50 and older refresh their driving expertise, reduce the risk of traffic violations and accidents, and qualify for an auto insurance discount up to 10 percent. This class cannot be used for ticket dismissal. Certificates are awarded upon completion.

The fee is $12 with proof of AARP membership, and $14 for non-members. Checks are payable to AARP. Advance registration is required.

Mangum-Howell Center’s free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jerry Eversole’s educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. Mangum-Howell Center is a Precinct 4 community center located at 2500 Frick Road, Houston 77038. Center hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information regarding classes or other Center programs, please call (281) 591-7830.
