Each athlete is treated as an equal and plays in every game.
At the South Montgomery County YMCA, every child is a winner, is treated as an equal and plays in every game. There are no bench
warmers. This is what makes Y Youth Sports so unique and special. We are so much more than how many points are scored or who is winning the game.
The Y Youth Sports Program encourages and promotes healthy and strong kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team building as well as individual development, a positive self image and a sense of fair play & mutual respect for others. Caring adult coaches and volunteers create an asset rich environment in which children learn and practice the core values of responsibility, honesty, respect, caring and faith. YMCA Youth Sports programs are a great start to a lifetime of fitness and values.
